Sichuan Huiyuan Plastic Optical Fiber Co., Ltd is a high-tech co***ny specialized in developing, manufacturing and marketing of low-loss PMMA plastic optical fiber, cable as well as its applications.
Since 2000, this co***ny has been devoted to independent research and development of optical fiber raw materials, manufacturing equipment and process, and successfully implemented the mass production of Low Loss PMMA POF in 2003. Based on this success, the co***ny had undertaken and accomplished the technological breakthrough task of the National Science and Technology Department, the Industrialization Upgrading Project of the State Development and Reform Commission, and the independent manufacturing of fluorine resin clad material, with the optical attenuation<=0.2dB/m, which has achieved an advanced level among the similar products in the world.
To promote the development of plastic optical fiber optic industry, authorized by the Ministry of Information Industry, this co***ny formulated the National Communication Industry Standards in Plastic Optical Fiber (YD/T 1447-2006) and (YD/T1258.62006) for communication, on the drafting of GB/T 650nm plastic optical fiber wavelength converter, GB/T 650nmplastic optical fiber NIC and GB/T 650nm plastic optical fiber transmission module etc. On this basis, it has developed the technology of lighting products, cultivated a large number of lighting manufactures and lighting dealers; and now, PMMA POF is wildly used in decorative lighting in China and many countries.
As a total, this co***ny has 10 independent Intellectual Property, 8 of them are National invention patent of China, and has another 20 National patent of China. In 2009, approved by National Development and Reform Commission, the only POF Engineering Laboratory of China, the POF Production and Application of the National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory was officially set up.
